However, in cases where the e q u i p m e n t is not field replaceable, or where the field technicians have an i n d e p e n d e n t means to m o n i t o r the t e m p e r a t u r e , it is possible to let the software build a table of temperature-versus-ADC values.
In such a system, the-BUSY signal would typically be connected to the processor-RDY o r - W A I T signal. This holds the processor in a wait state until the conversion is complete. 5 ~ts.
